Here's a typical itinerary highlighting the common overnight stops:
- Lukla (2,860 m): The starting point of the trek, with several lodges and guesthouses.
- Phakding (2,610 m): A common first stop, offering various tea houses and lodges.
- Namche Bazaar (3,440 m): The largest town in the Khumbu region, with a wide range of accommodations and amenities.
- Tengboche (3,860 m): Famous for its monastery, with several lodges and guesthouses.
- Dingboche (4,410 m): A popular acclimatization stop, offering several tea houses.
- Lobuche (4,910 m): Limited but sufficient accommodations for trekkers.
